Erin Geddis

Director of Queens Corner

Erin Geddis, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, is a shining example of resilience and strength. Diagnosed with type one diabetes at age eight, Erin has faced and overcome tremendous challenges—including conquering both type one diabetes and renal kidney failure with a life-changing kidney-pancreas transplant. In 2020, she lost her sight due to diabetic retinopathy, but refused to let this setback define her.

Inspired by her bond with her son Chase, Erin transformed her adversity into action by founding Queen’s Corner—a national nonprofit that empowers and supports low vision and blind women. She is passionate about women’s health, breaking down barriers, and helping others realize that your level of sight does not define your purpose or potential. Erin is driven to help women everywhere reach for their goals, find their strength, and know that their vision will always go far beyond what they can see.

Kimberly’s strong leadership, teaching, and coaching skills empower the women within the organization and the broader community. She is passionate about providing positive feedback and meaningful support that creates lasting impact for the women of Queen’s Corner.

Kimberly resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband Joseph Busby, their two children, Chaysen and Chaz, and their beloved Yorkie, Prince. She is committed to the organization’s mission and lives by the tagline: Seeing the vision, no matter her sight.
